The Blades of Chaos are Kratos’ main weapon in God of War and God of War: Chains of Olympus (PSP version).

Attached to Kratos’s biceps by chains, the Blades of Chaos have a very long attack range and are covered with a hot flame every time they attack an enemy, the color of this flame gradually changes with each lift.

In the latest version released in 2018, Kratos once again fights with the Blades of Chaos.

Masamune (Sephiroth – Final Fantasy)

Sephiroth’s peerless friend, tool, and weapon is Masamune, a sword said to have the second greatest power in Japan, in addition to its countless appearances in the Final Fantasy Series.

Masamune is also the complete opposite of Muramasa, the work of Sengo Muramasa – also a talented swordsmith but famous mostly for his madness and bloodthirsty transmitted to the sword and is said to be the cause of death.

Masamune under Sephiroth’s hands bears the shadow of Muramasa even more, having tasted the blood of countless innocent lives, among them Aerith.

Frostmourne (Arthas – Warcraft)

For the world gaming community in general and Vietnam in particular, Frostmourne is one of the most loved legendary weapons.

Created by the Nathrezim (Dreadlords in WarCraft) on Outland, Frostmourne was the weapon of Ner’Zhul, the Orc Shaman who later became the Lich King.

Unable to be satisfied with his position as a servant, Ner’Zhul (Lich King) used all his strength to throw Frostmourne out of the Frozen Throne, falling into Dragonblight, in Northrend.

Then, Arthas freed the Lich King from the Frozen Throne, killing Ner’Zhul (in the novel) to become a single entity, the strongest in Northrend, a new Lich King.

Lightsaber (Star Wars Game)

The lightsaber’s predecessors were crude devices that used experimental `Cool Blasters`, technology to create a beam of energy of a fixed length.

After years of research, the Jedi modified the properties of the unstable energy beam, and reduced power consumption, however still requiring a belt-mounted power supply.

It was the dark lords of the Sith empire who contributed to perfecting this weapon, by changing the energy source and adding lightsaber crystals in the hilt of the Sith sword, creating modern lightsabers with light.

Time Dagger (Prince of Persia)

The most famous weapon in the Prince of Persia series is a weapon with a completely mysterious background.

Although small in appearance, it gives the user the power to turn back time to cheat death, making different choices to benefit themselves, but at the cost of unpredictable consequences afterward.
